When selecting program venues for our inaugural Advanced Economic Development Leadership, we were sure to choose destinations and settings that were accessible, convenient, and conducive to learning—without the hassle and congestion that some corporate destinations present. Both of these locations are easy to get to—by air or by car—and both have the conveniences and amenities one would expect, without the crowds and ensuing distractions. The goal for the facilities themselves was to choose locations that would foster camaraderie and collaboration.
